Lisa L. Sickles, CPDT-KA, CDBC is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed and a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant who has been providing dog training in the Denver area since 1999. She is an active member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, S.T.A.R Puppy class evaluator and an evaluator for the new AKC Trick Titles!
Lisa served on the City Of Englewood’s Dangerous Dog Task Force as the “animal professional” to assist the Council on the writing of the current city code, and has been an “expert” witness for court cases.
Lisa also served on the board of the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley.
She has also done seminars on various dog behaviors for veterinary professionals, rescue groups and daycares.
Lisa uses positive reinforcement techniques in her classes and private lessons.
Lisa and her husband are the proud owners of one rescued, mixed-breed dog, Tala. A rescued Australian Shepherd, Colette, and an Aussie named Scarlatti. With the addition of Scarlatti, Lisa has found a new love and is competing in agility. Colette is currently enrolled in agility foundation classes as well.
